The Word became flesh and dwelled among us . . . and the unfolding of His Words is Light.

Redemption Story Project

“We don’t just have stories, we are a story. It is our responsibility to know our story so we can live it out more intentionally and boldly for the Great Story, the gospel. God writes our story not just for our own enlightenment and insight, but to enlighten others and to reveal his own story through our story.” (Dan Allender, PhD, To Be Told).

(This post describes the format and purpose of the project.)

(The first story about a childhood memory.)

(A story about Naming and Becoming)

(A story about family secrets/myths.)

(A story about escaping reality through stories/entertainment.)

(A Story of Shalom--peace--how my husband and I met and married.)

(Story of my tragic mother-daughter relationship and how God redeems in the Now.)

(A story defining Shame.)

(A story about how we cover shame with blame and denial.)

(A story about how I'm like the shamed Samaritan Woman in John 4 and how Jesus is the antidote to shame.)

(Story about Hope in the midst of dark memories.)

(Story about my broken relationship with my Dad and how God met me with Himself.)

Story#12:When Life Gouges Deep, He Fills Us
